Martin Braendle recently announced a "Chemistry in Mobile Apps" session at the Fall ACS. From the announcement:
Session title: Chemistry in Mobile Apps
ACS National Meeting #242, Denver, CO, Fall August 28-September 1, 2011 CINF Division
The recent introduction of Web-savvy smartphones, started in 2007 by Apple's iPhone, and tablet computers, both accompanied by app stores has opened a whole new market for the IT, mobile and information industry.
This session is seeking to bring together publishers, software developers, and librarians to report their experiences with mobile devices and apps and discuss the opportunities and challenges.
Given the high level of interest in mobile platforms from scientists, LIMS/ELN vendors, developers, and publishers alike, this session promises to be both timely and informative.
