Java™ Technology
ChemWriter content requires the Java browser plugin (1.4.2+). If you see the message Plugin Not Found at the top of this page, Java is either not installed on your system or has been disabled on your browser. You can either download and install Java yourself by visiting the Sun Microsystems Java site or follow the instructions below to install without leaving this site.
Install Java From This Page
You can install the Java plugin directly from this page. If Firefox lacks the Java plugin, an Install Missing Plugins… button will be visible at the top right of your screen. Clicking this button will produce a popup window that will guide you through the installation process. After installing the plugin, reloading this page should give the message Plugin OK.
Don’t See the Button?
If the Install Missing Plugins button is not visible, your system has Java installed, but it is disabled. To re-enable Java, open your preferences window by choosing either Edit>Preferences or Tools>Options menu items. Click on the Content tab and check the box marked Enable Java.
Re-loading this page should produce a Plugin OK message at the top.
