A license file is issued as part of a Website or Wildcard license. This plain text file contains information about your organization, expiration date, and license type. The license file can be placed anywhere on the domain in which ChemWriter is deployed. A convenient location is in the same directory as the chemwriter.js file itself.
In the example below, the license file is placed in the path /chemwriter/chemwriter.lic:
